Autumn Praise

Autumn Praise

My spirit is bearing fruit in this Thanksgiving season. That might sound corny friends, but the impact it is having on me this month is palpable… and long overdue.

Last year, I lost myself in a long period of caretaking for my mother. Helping Mom in that season was the best thing I have ever done, however, it meant losing myself for a while. Now, in anticipation of this Thanksgiving holiday, I rejoice for the spiritual growth and renewal God is giving me through the process. What a treasure it is!

  • I am thankful for the days, weeks, and months I spent helping mom through a difficult season in her life.
  • I am grateful for the depth of love my husband and family showed in my absence and their tender care as they continue to pitch in to help with Mom.
  • I am changed by the power of God whose love never fails, and whose mercy endures forever.

Dear Lord, thank you for your tender mercy to all who may read this. Bless those who are in need and meet them right where they are.

Praise the Lord! Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.” (Psalm 105:1)
