November Musings

I will miss November when it is gone. That may sound silly, but November is smooth. It is an unassuming month full of meaning and purpose. November reminds me that change is on the horizon, and it is time to celebrate where we have been and look ahead to where we are going.

November is not as demanding as other months with long hot days, or mad dashes to and fro for gift buying, or paying taxes. No. November is all about digging out your favorite sweater and leaning into early sunsets for quality time with loved ones. It is about trying turkey recipes and gathering with new and old friends who remind us that relationships are more important than the business of life.

I am sorry to see November go however with its passing comes the promise of joy in the coming season. It has been said that the only constant is change. Will you embrace the change that God has for you in the coming season? With December on the horizon will you join me in looking forward to what God has in store for you and those you love?
